He was incarcerated at the South Florida Reception Center in Miami-Dade, Florida. Here is his incarceration history in the state of Florida. As you can see he had an INS Detainer issued in 2002 which was canceled on in 2015. One has to wonder why....

This upstanding citizen was also stealing US Mail and assaulting mail carriers for which he received an initial sentence of 300 months which is 25 years, later amended on appeal to 120 months which is 10 years.
